Mother’s Day feels different once you become a mother yourself. I’ll never forget the day I found out I was pregnant — a mix of disbelief, fear, excitement, and wondering if it was even real. Even near the end of my pregnancy, with my big belly and everything changing, part of me was still in disbelief that I was about to become someone’s mom.

Then I had my first child.

The moment I held this tiny, fragile little life in my arms, something in me changed forever. My heart felt so full in a way I had never experienced before. Along with the love came a deep sense of responsibility — realizing this little person would depend on me completely. It was overwhelming and beautiful at the same time. I remember feeling almost helpless holding something so small, knowing I needed to be strong for them.

Motherhood taught me that love can be powerful enough to change who you are. It gave me strength I didn’t know I had, purpose during my hardest days, and a heart that now walks outside my body every single day.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers who love deeply, worry endlessly, and keep showing up no matter how tired they are. 🤍
